Fabulously 50′s Style Wedding

An amateur photographer myself, I love looking through photos. And I mean love it. So when I came across the wonderfully talented Matt Foden on Twitter, I was delighted not only to come across his blog – but thrilled that he wanted featured on mine!

Matt and his wife Brenda recently covered a 50′s style wedding – and I would like to say a big thank you for sharing it with me! Here is what they had to say about Charlie and Ant’s wedding;

“Charlie and Ant went for a really relaxed feel for their wedding day, mixed with a vintage/1950′s theme. The setting was Charlie’s parental home, a beautiful cottage set in the Kent countryside. The 50′s theme was present throughout.  The bride wore a 1950′s style prom dress with a green tulle underskirt, a net veil and a simple, yet elegant pearl necklace. Guests were encouraged to go and put on their own songs on the jukebox – a lovely and unusual wedding decoration! As photographers we find the 50′s vintage theme really inspiring and find it adds a greater feeling of romance to the day; we hope you enjoy the images as much as we enjoyed shooting this lovely couple!”

What a cute wedding, I love this style!

Love the garden setting – an amazing setting for an at home wedding!

Super stylish, cute little 50′s dress and great pics. Love the 50′s style it should once again make its appearance on the Catwalk – any girly girl would want to wear those petticote dresses/skirts – I know would :-).
