It’s that time again where I get to share some fabulous real life weddings. My first real wedding of 2011 is by the lovely Lyndsey Goddard. Below she shares some more of her work – enjoy!

“This wedding took place in London. The ceremony was at St Bride’s church off Fleet Street. It’s one of my favourite churches and is wonderful to shoot in. There is a secret staircase which the very kind verger allowed me to climb in order to take the shot looking down on to the proceedings – providing an excellent view of the couple and all their friends and family.

The wedding took place on one of the hottest days of the year (2010) so at the drinks reception, on the Hispanola moored on the Thames, we saw plenty of jugs of Pimms being downed!

Everyone then piled on to a Routemaster and headed to The George, a lovely, atmospheric pub on The Strand. Lots of food, some very emotional speeches and plenty of dancing followed.

Emily and Ed were a dream to work with, as were their families, there were no dramas, just happy smiley faces all day.”
