Ann and Chris – House for an Art Lover, Glasgow

Following on from yesterday’s introductions, I thought it would be a nice little treat to share with you some more of Wilson McSheffrey’s fine work. Below Kate shares with us the wedding of Ann and Chris, who got married at the lovely House for an Art Lover (yay for Glasgow brides!)

Over to you Kate;

“This wedding was actually shot a couple of years ago, but it is one of our favourites! Ann and Chris were married in House for an Art Lover in Glasgows’ Southside. Ann’s bubbly personality was infections and she and Chris were great fun to work with.

Andrew and Emmett absolutely loved shooting at The House for an Art Lover which made a perfect venue with its’ lovely airy atmosphere. The Art Deco style the Charles Rennie Mackintosh design made this wedding ideal for a 2011 vintage photography makeover, a style which is very much a siganture of Wilson | McSheffery’s work today.

We were very lucky to have fantastic weather during Ann and Chris’s wedding which really brought out the best of the location, tucked away in Bellahouston Park, you would never know you were in a big City! With only around 60 guests this wedding was intimate, warm and relaxed and this really comes across in the photographs”

Thanks Kate – totally agree, Ann’s personality really shines through in these photos – what a truly happy bride!
