Chris & Suzie – Prestonfields House Hotel
The weather this week has been rubbish, the dark mornings and early evenings have begun, as has the extremely cold and wet autumn we all know only too well. So, it was a breath of fresh air when Gary sent this latest wedding over to me, with some lovely brightly coloured flowers and a very happy, newly married couple!
A big thanks to Chris and Suzie for sharing their big day with wedding-inspiration and to Gary Bonar for showing us some more of his gorgeous images! Here is a little from Gary about the day;
“Chris and Suzie are from London, as were all the guests at the wedding. As soon as I heard that they wanted to book me for their wedding at Inchcolm Abbey I was itching with excitement! I have always wanted a chance to shoot a wedding at this lovely little church on an island in the middle of the Forth estuary – and now was my chance.
My excitement grew when I heard the reception was to be at Prestonfields House Hotel in the center of Edinburgh, this really is a plush place and I was not disappointed at the level of service. Prestonfields House Hotel is a great venue to photograph in itself. To say I was spoiled is an understatement.
Chris is a pilot for B.A. and a photographer in his spare time so I knew I was up against it from the word go! Sometimes amateur photographers can be very critical and so the pressure was piled on from the word go!
I was relieved to hear that my photos passed the test and in the end I had nothing to worry about – both Chris and Suzie were delighted with the results we achieved!”
