Wedding dresses needn’t always be strapless and floor length. Nor is there any rule that says they must be bought from a bridal boutique. There, I said it. Don’t get me wrong, both strapless and floor length can and do look awesome, it’s just that every now and then, it’s nice to see something a little bit different. And if you, the bride, does want something a bit different, then go for it.
More and more high street stores have their own bridal range that wont break the bank (or your budget!) – and some even have some pretty cute short dresses – so, this weeks Sunday Stumbles contains some of my favourite;
- Monsoon never fail to impress. Long or short, with or without straps or sleeves, this high street store have a bridal range that is definately worth a look;
- Organza, tiers and a lovely colour – this dress from John Lewis is fantastic;
- Vintage in style, this dress could be accessorized to the max. For a full vintage look add in some netting underneath to add a bit of volume. Did I mention it was from Dorothy Perkins and cost……..a mere £45! Bargain central indeed.
- Another strong high street contender is Coast. These stores are often packed with perfect bridesmaid dresses in an array of colours – but it’s not just the bridesmaid these dresses are ideal for – I love this not quite a long, not quite short dress;
Some lovely short dresses in amongst those! Hope you stumbled on something useful. What do you think – would you wear a short dress for your wedding?
